               DECIDE  YOUR'SELF'



               Nowadays teenagers of our age commits suicide when others say something about them.Our life is not ment to be judged by others. If someone complaints about your physical appearance or any other characteristics, don't be depressed of it. Don't think how others think of you. We are all born for a purpose. We will have to  fight the hardest battle. Don't worry about your weaknesses. Everyone is born with specialities. Don't compare yourself with others . Only think about your strengths. Be happy with what you have.

           Happiness lies in ourselves. If you are thinking that you are not good enough, just think of others who are happily living with what they have. We should lead a life which is useful to others. I am sure that leading such a life will bring us happiness. Suicides are not the answer to others who make fun of you. Live a worthful and ideal life which will be inspiration and an answer to those who make fun of you.

Be Extraordinary: Thomaskutty Mathew 1st BA Sociology

  Lady in the house, her responsibilities and ambitions The most important video which struck my attention was the inspirational video by Amrita Duhan. Ms.Amrita Duhan is an IPS officer by profession and MBBS by degree. She hails from Rohtak in Haryana. From the very young age she dreamt of becoming a Civil Servant. She was inspired by a serial telecasted in the Doordarshan channel. Later when she informed it in her family her parents didn't support it. Sarcastically, she says that the ultimate goal of middle-class parents is let their children be a doctor or engineer. She further adds that for a secure future Mrs Amarita Duhan choose MBBS and she says that she is the first doctor in her own family. After completing her MBBS and MD in pathology,  she had joined as an assistant professor in a Government Medical College. Then came up her marriage. After marriage when she said that she wish to become a Civil Servant, her in-laws discouraged

OVERCOMING HOPELESSNESS : Thomaskutty Mathew, 1st BA Sociology

   Today I am going to introduce a new personality, who might be familiar to at least some of us. His name is Nick Vujicic.   Nick Vujicic is an Australian-American motivational speaker, born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder characterized by the absence of hands and legs. He was born in Australia and later he shifted to California. Basically he is a Christian evangelist.    The essence of all his speech is to "transform the worse into the best." In his autobiography,  he says that when he was born his mother was reluctant to see him. Later on they eventually accepted the fact that it was God's plan for their son.   He says about how he overcame obstacles in his life. Further, he adds that his  obstacles became opportunities. He says that a lot of students teased him. In spite of all those he could  complete his higher education successfully.   His words are to be noted in our hearts.  " When we lose hope we will lose our strength to live. " Willpower
