"TURING ADVERSITY INTO OPPORTUNITY": Muniba Mazari ;by Anupama Rajesh



The first person that came to my mind is MUNIBA MAZARI when sir first spoke about Tedxtalk.She is  great motivational speaker,painter, artist,model etc..She is known as the IRON LADY OF PAKISTAN.
Here Muniba shares the  story of an incident which change her life completely.In this talk she talks about how she being on a wheelchair.Here she shares her own life experience.She said "behind every inspirational picture there is an untold story of constant pain".it means there are some people in the world they are in big trouble but they try to keep smile on face,they try to overcome it's give more beauty..Like Muniba while she met a road accident which made her paraplegic.She sustained several major injuries, everyone else saw wheelchair is weakness for her,but she it's her strength.She  says that the most painful situation of the people who end up on the wheelchair is the lack of acceptance.So she decided to do something for these disabled people.Instead of starting NGO's she appeared more on public as a motivational speaker.But She knows that the rest of her life is fully depended  upon the wheelchair.But the next day doctor came with another bad news that she won't be able to give birth to a child..and she adopted a boy.


 She said that thus car accident which change her personality completely and she starts drawing named Muniba canvas with the slogan 'LET YOURS WALLS HEAR COLORS'.Later she become first wheelchair model in Pakistan.

Yeah!I never thanked God for my health.But after listening this talk I really realised the blessing of God.She is perfect in everyway her imperfections make her more and more perfect.We can learn many lessons from her life.She try  to turn her adversity into opportunities.

I conclude my words.. Thank you Father to introduce about Tedxtalk.I think listening tedx motivational talk making people mentally strong and to over come problems and make positive including me.....

  Lady in the house, her responsibilities and ambitions The most important video which struck my attention was the inspirational video by Amrita Duhan. Ms.Amrita Duhan is an IPS officer by profession and MBBS by degree. She hails from Rohtak in Haryana. From the very young age she dreamt of becoming a Civil Servant. She was inspired by a serial telecasted in the Doordarshan channel. Later when she informed it in her family her parents didn't support it. Sarcastically, she says that the ultimate goal of middle-class parents is let their children be a doctor or engineer. She further adds that for a secure future Mrs Amarita Duhan choose MBBS and she says that she is the first doctor in her own family. After completing her MBBS and MD in pathology,  she had joined as an assistant professor in a Government Medical College. Then came up her marriage. After marriage when she said that she wish to become a Civil Servant, her in-laws discouraged

OVERCOMING HOPELESSNESS : Thomaskutty Mathew, 1st BA Sociology

   Today I am going to introduce a new personality, who might be familiar to at least some of us. His name is Nick Vujicic.   Nick Vujicic is an Australian-American motivational speaker, born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder characterized by the absence of hands and legs. He was born in Australia and later he shifted to California. Basically he is a Christian evangelist.    The essence of all his speech is to "transform the worse into the best." In his autobiography,  he says that when he was born his mother was reluctant to see him. Later on they eventually accepted the fact that it was God's plan for their son.   He says about how he overcame obstacles in his life. Further, he adds that his  obstacles became opportunities. He says that a lot of students teased him. In spite of all those he could  complete his higher education successfully.   His words are to be noted in our hearts.  " When we lose hope we will lose our strength to live. " Willpower
