Grimance of Morality in Sports

The celebration of Cristiano Ronaldo on causing a ₹400 cr loss on Coca-Cola does raise some serious questions. Despite the drink having all those consequences on health It still opens a debate on the moral aspects of sportsmanship.

Even if not to consider Ronaldo advertising the brand few years back It's not an alien thing for athletes about the importance of sponsorship in domine of sports.

The prime motive of the sponsoring  companies being advertisement and the profit to thus generate, It indeed is a service in the sense it provides the masses across globe free access to live sports action by cancelling out the costs of broadcasting.

Causing the company a  loss of this magnitude could no way be justified not to be a crime. As far as the player's, to perform keeps on exploiting the platform sponsored by the companies no argument of morality is relevant either. It hasn't been so long after  'Naomi Osaka' showed a moral & bold way of protest at the Roland Garros.

To uphold personal interests over the aspirations of a larger community in such a public domine is a terrible mistake and actions are to be taken.
