Chetan Bhagat, is Indian author and columnist, known for his English novels about young middle-class Indians. He is known for his romance genre novels, has tried his hand at a murder mystery.This 300-page thriller revolves around an IIT pass out guy named Keshav and the murder of his ex-girlfriend Zara.In the beginning we can see the heartbroken guy’s sad life and obsessive love .His jump into a murder plot and that’s when the story get’s interesting. Keshav and his funny yet witty best friend Saurav’s journey to find the culprit is the best part of this novel. The book keeps you guessing who is the culprit till the very end, it also addresses the stereotypes and political issues we face in India.It is not a love story but an unlove story but you will understand at the last page how it is unlove for someone to someone by someone .️ Chetan bhagat writes uptodate issues and psyche of modern day lovers. The book begins with Keshav and Chetan Bhagat. They both meet each other in flight. They are both going to Delhi. After talking between them, they get to know about each other. Keshav wants to tell his story to Chetan but due to listening to a lot of love story, Chetan refuses him. After some time, he himself asks to hear it.Then Kesav explained about his love, breakup and all the mystery behind his ex's (Zara) murder.Finally we see kesav as a developed character, who had become a self confident detective.
It is simple to read the books of Chetan Bhagat.This book was quite interesting for me and I liked the story. All the characters were used well. Enjoyed reading it.
