 All our lives revolve around the promises we've given. Promises symbolises loyalty and commitment. Not everyone are able to  keep up  the promises they've taken. If promises where easy to be broken then it would not be always heartbreaking . Promises are always kept with our close one's.When a promise is broken we loose the bond we built so far.Promises are a vital part of building our relationships. When we follow through on our commitments with thoughtful actions, it strengthens our personal connections. Fulfilling promises always make you a better person

ROOTS                - Ismat Chugtai Roots is a short story written by Ismat Chugtai. It depicts the situation of India during the partition period through the life of a Hindu and a Muslim family. The story also focuses on the feelings of insecurity experienced by the members of the Muslim family. It highlights the triumph of love in the face of communal hatred.
