Most of the people are living to satisfy others eyes not their heart. People are living according to what others says and wish about them. By this we are not able to take our own decision. People are trusting others to know what they are and how they are. Others look at our external life. We compare ourself with others and complain what we don't have. We are trying to imitate and impress others. This will not help us to find out and improve our real talents and qualities, instead it will frail you. Everyone are unique in this world. We should try to enjoy each and every moments in our life with what we have. First, what we should do is to RESPECT OURSELF. We should try to find out our talents, skills, capabilities etc and develop it. We should believe in ourself.  God gifted us a good life. When we look around us ,we can see physically challenged and other disabled people. Comparing with them we are much blessed. we  must be satisfied with our life. Many people try to discourage and deviate us. We should not fell down by hearing this. Be proud of who you are, and not ashamed of how someone else see you. We should always try to  think positively and lead a better life. 

It doesn't matter whatever others say and think about you but  it does matter what you say or think about you as it determines your quality of life.

Be Extraordinary: Thomaskutty Mathew 1st BA Sociology

  Lady in the house, her responsibilities and ambitions The most important video which struck my attention was the inspirational video by Amrita Duhan. Ms.Amrita Duhan is an IPS officer by profession and MBBS by degree. She hails from Rohtak in Haryana. From the very young age she dreamt of becoming a Civil Servant. She was inspired by a serial telecasted in the Doordarshan channel. Later when she informed it in her family her parents didn't support it. Sarcastically, she says that the ultimate goal of middle-class parents is let their children be a doctor or engineer. She further adds that for a secure future Mrs Amarita Duhan choose MBBS and she says that she is the first doctor in her own family. After completing her MBBS and MD in pathology,  she had joined as an assistant professor in a Government Medical College. Then came up her marriage. After marriage when she said that she wish to become a Civil Servant, her in-laws discouraged

OVERCOMING HOPELESSNESS : Thomaskutty Mathew, 1st BA Sociology

   Today I am going to introduce a new personality, who might be familiar to at least some of us. His name is Nick Vujicic.   Nick Vujicic is an Australian-American motivational speaker, born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder characterized by the absence of hands and legs. He was born in Australia and later he shifted to California. Basically he is a Christian evangelist.    The essence of all his speech is to "transform the worse into the best." In his autobiography,  he says that when he was born his mother was reluctant to see him. Later on they eventually accepted the fact that it was God's plan for their son.   He says about how he overcame obstacles in his life. Further, he adds that his  obstacles became opportunities. He says that a lot of students teased him. In spite of all those he could  complete his higher education successfully.   His words are to be noted in our hearts.  " When we lose hope we will lose our strength to live. " Willpower
