The Moment You Start Believing Yourself ; Sky is the Limit...

               

Born premature, friendless during the whole school days, called "the ugliest woman in the world", in her sweet seventeen,people across the world commenting "kill yourself"...what else more should a girl in her youth, hear, to be broken up and end her life?



      But the moment Lizzie realized the fact that nobody in this world are created, by God by mistake, but for a unique purpose, her life started changing....the journey from "the most ugliest woman" to "one of the most beautiful and powerful soul".


       This life is a test and trial. Life will be hard, there will be turmoils, but that will only make us stronger. When we have these hardships, trust the fact that the one who allote these to our life, have given us the strength to face it. Trust in that power, and believe, love and be kind to yourself...the moment you do it;sky is the limit.

                    When Lizzie started loving herself, when she started calling herself beautiful, the world echoed. 


     EVERYBODY HAS A DREAM, EVERYBODY IS TALENTED, BUT THE ONE WHO ENDURES THE PAIN, ARE  LEGENDS....

  Lady in the house, her responsibilities and ambitions The most important video which struck my attention was the inspirational video by Amrita Duhan. Ms.Amrita Duhan is an IPS officer by profession and MBBS by degree. She hails from Rohtak in Haryana. From the very young age she dreamt of becoming a Civil Servant. She was inspired by a serial telecasted in the Doordarshan channel. Later when she informed it in her family her parents didn't support it. Sarcastically, she says that the ultimate goal of middle-class parents is let their children be a doctor or engineer. She further adds that for a secure future Mrs Amarita Duhan choose MBBS and she says that she is the first doctor in her own family. After completing her MBBS and MD in pathology,  she had joined as an assistant professor in a Government Medical College. Then came up her marriage. After marriage when she said that she wish to become a Civil Servant, her in-laws discouraged

OVERCOMING HOPELESSNESS : Thomaskutty Mathew, 1st BA Sociology

   Today I am going to introduce a new personality, who might be familiar to at least some of us. His name is Nick Vujicic.   Nick Vujicic is an Australian-American motivational speaker, born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder characterized by the absence of hands and legs. He was born in Australia and later he shifted to California. Basically he is a Christian evangelist.    The essence of all his speech is to "transform the worse into the best." In his autobiography,  he says that when he was born his mother was reluctant to see him. Later on they eventually accepted the fact that it was God's plan for their son.   He says about how he overcame obstacles in his life. Further, he adds that his  obstacles became opportunities. He says that a lot of students teased him. In spite of all those he could  complete his higher education successfully.   His words are to be noted in our hearts.  " When we lose hope we will lose our strength to live. " Willpower
