We all are perfectly imperfect
Muniba Mazari is a Pakistani artist, model, singer, and motivational speaker. She is the national ambassador for UN women Pakistan. In her speech she used to talk about the accident which completely transformed her life into a new one.She is a person who strongly believes that the real happiness of a human being does not lie in money or success rather it lies in true gratitude.
Muniba belongs to a very conservative family. She was 18 years old when she got married.Just after 2 years of getting married she met with a car accident. Her husband somehow managed to escape from the car but she could not. This accident took place in an underdeveloped area where there is no ambulance,no first aid or no hospital. Many people came to rescue her. They just pulled her out of the car and take her to the hospital which is 3 hours from this place. She stayed in the hospital for two and half months. She had undergone many surgeries.Doctors used to put titanium in her arms and back. One day a doctor came and said that she won't be able to paint again since her arm and wrist got deformed. The very next day that doctor came and said that she won't be able to walk again since her spine is badly injured. She stayed quiet. But She knows that the rest of her life is fully depended upon the wheelchair. But the next day doctor came with another bad news that she won't be able to give birth to a child. We know that a women is incomplete without children and Muniba knows that she was going to lead a miserable and incomplete life.Somehow she managed to convince herself this truth and decided to adopt a child.
She says that the most painful situation of the people who end up on the wheelchair is the lack of acceptance. So she decided to do something for these disabled people.Instead of starting NGO's she appeared more on public as a motivational speaker. She also conducted many painting exhibitions in Pakistan and she is the Pakistan's first wheelchair artist. She says that ''We all are perfectly imperfect'.We all do some sort of work and make money. But that's not the life.Just go outside and find find people who needs your help and help them to live a better life. That's the day when you live.'With a remarkable quote 'Don't die before your death' she touches our heart.
